My mighty Aunt was wrong,
when she sang me a song,
Then she beckoned me forth to the fold.
I sat on her nighty,
she cradled me tightly,
Then told me a story of old.
“Young child” she declared with a snort and a stare,
“Young child” she declared with a snort and a stare,
“There are things that I feel you should know.
”So she sat there with ease and she made me believe,
That my father was some sort of crow!
[On my father’s return]
“My child what is up?” he choked with a cluck.
[On my father’s return]
“My child what is up?” he choked with a cluck.
“My darling you’re looking so blue!”
“You’re a CROW!” I declared,
then he stood and he stared,
And off through the window he flew.
She's the best,
She's the best,
She's the youngest,
I'd say she's the greatest.
She's very smart,
She's in my heart,
I don't think we'll ever grow apart.
Sure she's faraway,
And I don't see her everyday.
But she's my favorite aunt,
And she's like a stuffed animal I really want.
She's like a best friend to me,
It's like she has a key,
And through me she can see,
Something troubling me.
Yet, she will always let me be.
We have great memories together.
And I'd be happy if she stayed with me forever.
I miss her a bunch,
And I'll always love her so much.
